THE PROBLEM

The question was presented. How do you stay connected with your animal when they are getting a procedure or if you’re out of town and want to know how your pet is doing? From that question, CamCare was developed to be the first ever live video feed giving you complete access to your pet and their status while they are being treated in a pet-care facility.

The Approach

Codera started by thinking of the product from the identity up. After the identity was solidified, we were able to understand the ‘personality’ this app should have. Next we mind-mapped the product to come up with the most sound solution to build upon when wireframing a user-friendly User Interface.

Early Explorations

INTENTIONAL COLORS

Color was intentionally used to help separate customer and provider experiences. This helps create a visual reference for which interface is being used at any given time.

CUSTOM ICON SET

We designed a set of custom pet-care icons that appear in the pet-owner’s feed. These give users a quick visual reference to their status. Not only does it help make the interface look snazzy, but it also serves a visual function.

One Powerful App

We designed a powerful mobile application for live-streaming video from pet-care service providers in addition to embedded chat tools for care facilities to connect and communicate with pet owners.

Get informed

Provider profiles help consumers make informed decisions for their pet before ever stepping foot into a facility. After reviewing potential providers, pet owners can use the CamCare app to schedule an appointment and get immediate service from their chosen provider.

OUTSIDE THE BOX

Codera thought hard about creating a detailed history of each pet to facilitate the most effective care possible. Keeping pet owners continuously informed was the focal point of our approach to providing the right tools to providers. Removing the need for pesky check-in calls by giving consumers real-time data provides significant value to both pet-care providers and pet owners.
